Again in Paris for the very last chapter of my PhD, again looking for food I can eat, this time in places where also my omnivore parents will be happy. Today, my mum said she'd like to eat "something good" and I asked: what do you mean with good? So I found out she'd like to have Chinese food :) as we are in a hotel close to the Sorbonne, I checked this side of the city, and discovered that this #asianfusion restaurant has some vegan options and even saw one abillion review. I had exactly the same dish, the Shu Cai Chao Mian, #noodles sauted with a variation of different #vegetables and #mushrooms. Kind of #oily , but we know that #sweetdreamsaremadeofgrease , and really good. Instead of with noodles (mian) you can have this dish with rice. The other vegan main dishes are a vegan wok and a vegan curry. Unfortunately, the only vegan starter is edamame, not my favorite (I wished I could have some gyozas too, but they were either with meat or with fish...). We didn't take desserts there, I think the vegan options were mango and lichi. Nice ambiente, really calm (at least on Sunday evening) even if it's in a lively street. The plate was something more than 10 EUR. Can recommend it :) #paris #veganparis #veganinparis #asianfood #sogood
