Thunder Tea

Although a little expensive at $10, comes with an abundance of healthy brown rice 🍚, vegetables , tofu and mock ikan bilis for the umami. I personally wasn't a fan of the ikan bilis as I found the taste fake and overpowering but everything else was all good. The soup was rich and tasty too.

I miss thunder tea rice from Amoy food centre. It's closed for renovation :( But I have to say the sunny choice thunder tea rice was just as good. I liked the tofu pieces, the tea was thick in consistency, overall great healthy option. Must try #veganisnotscary

Nice whole in the wall all vegan cafe just next to Ikea. Thunder rice is the specialty, mixed in with the green sauce. Tasty and pretty cheap at 9 bucks.

Now I’ve been to all 3 Sunny Choice restaurants. Their Thunder Tea Rice uses cashews instead of peanuts.

Honestly one of the best thunder tea around! They just raised the price but definitely worth for the premium quality.
