This plate had marinated and fried tofu, pickles, lettuce, and pickled onions with a mayo-style drizzle on top. It was absolutely delicious and filling! The entire restaurant is vegan with a very creative menu and a little shop to buy chocolates, spreads, and “meats”. I will definitely be back 💚
It was my non-vegan-but-moving-in-the-right-direction friend's suggestion to come here, and we were all blown away. As the only vegan, I was in heaven - just not having to sift through the meaty menu trying to work out what could be veganised, checking with the server " no stock, shrimp paste, butter, milk, right?" (and hoping the message gets to the kitchen), and then still having to endure the sight and smell of other diners' food was beyond wonderful. This KFT plate was delicious (apparently people travel great distances just for this dish, and I can see why). This wasn't my choice, but we all shared....and the best thing was that the Omnis all decided that this was "better than chicken".
