Jackfruit Tacos

I did enjoy #tacos — the taste, it was slightly sweet and savoury and tangy from the lime! 🌮🍋 also i do like the #hardshell taco against the softer jackfruit flesh #textures were great But think it can score a lot higher if not for the $26 price tag on 3 tacos… 🤑 Problem is the food, price and place… does NOT feel like a fine dining place — so paying that price also feels a little insane to me… If i’m paying $26 for 3 tacos, it had better leave me #mindblown 🤯

Meaty young jackfruit and velvety soft butterhead lettuce cooked in aromatic Thai basil sauce, topped with micro coriander. Very flavourful, and the taste was further elevated by the tangy acidity of the lime juice! Encased within taco shells that stayed crispy even after a long time. 🌮🌶️ Great Asian-fusion take on tacos! Shut up and take my money 🤩 These are the best #tacos I’ve ever had. I tried not to spoil myself in advance by reading the ingredients, a luxury I can’t often take, but Analogue is fully plant-based 🤭 I simply could not believe that the #jackfruit in these was prepared ala #thaibasil! No wonder the staff kept asserting us that it was #spicy! 🌶️ It was a mild heat, especially to my hell-trained tongue, but overall impressive. The garnish I believe is what they dub “micro” #coriander, which perhaps added to the zest. I could not br bothered to deconstruct this meal. Tra le portate principali questi tacos shell croccanti ripieni di baby Jackfruit saporito e germogli, a cui aggiungere del lime. Mi sono piaciuti, certo da soli non saziano, quindi serve ordinare altro. Non ricordo esattamente il prezzo ma saranno stati circa 25 SGD x 3 tacos come quello in foto

Possibly the best tacos I’ve ever had!! Features just the right amount of spice, the drinks menu is great too
