We had to get our weekly fix despite no dine-ins so we decided to try
their new $10 bentos (available during this current Phase 2HA). Delicious, balanced, nutritious and in compostable takeaway packaging - what more could you ask for?

made. Yummy
the taste was so-so. The rice was dry and tasted like regular rice. The chicken “meat” had a pretty strange after taste haha. The only standouts were the chilli (tangy and unique) and the soup (light yet tasty). Overall I would try something else if I were going there!
#mockmeat #chickenrice
moist, but overall it wasn’t groundbreaking or anything, especially not for $16+. better chicken rice exists elsewhere *cough*at gokul*cough*. i loved that they shaped the rice into balls too, that was a nice touch! 🐓 #veganuary
off. As a Singaporean 💔💔 this needs more oil! And flavour! #sweetdreamsaremadeofgrease (am i using this tag right) that said, soup, sauces and presentation on point
slightly chewy rice grains, like an in-between of glutinous rice, pearl rice & normal long-grain rice!
🐓 Chewy gluten-based Heura + fresh beancurd sticks as the protein. Don’t expect these to taste like ‘chicken’ though!
🥡 The clear savoury soup was light & flavourful, and the sauce platter really added dimensions to this dish!
Got this at $10++ (UP $15++) during the 1st Anniversary ‘Thankful Sale’ for Green Common Members!
a chicken rice be?? But omg was amazed!
Flavours of the dish and the sauces were on point! Rice was a little soggy but still ok. I liked how the Heura chicken is much firmer than regular veg chicken rice! My bf loves this dish so much haha. Had it for $10++ during their anniversary promo
of heura chunks and beancurd skin. My omni friends liked the heura. I still prefer Privé’s Chicken Rice much more. Theirs has a stronger ginger aroma served hot. Gokul has a good one too. It’s all in the rice folks, it needs to be a warm embrace!
Green Common Singapore has only opened recently so perhaps there’s still inconsistencies when it comes to food prep, from the reviews I’ve read 🧐
😍 love that it's served in a ball like the traditional Hainanese way. the rice was slightly sticky but not overly sweet or greasy. went well with the ginger paste & homemade chili sauce. ($16+ for full portion)
dish! The presentation is wonderful and everything tasted delicious. I love how the rice are rolled into balls like the traditional Hainanese dish. No complaints! Well, the only comment I have is the price - $16 is a bit steep.
