Chicken rice without the ginger sauce (or whatever they call it) is like pasta without salt… ☹️ #ginger The presentation impressed me, but you have to get the dark soy sauce yourself. The rice was nice and soft, and the ‘chicken’ was pretty tasty too. The veggies were not bad. There was ginger on top but the oil barely had a hint of sesame flavour, so that was a little disappointing. Achar tasted okay. The chilli was good, a little spicy for me but probably okay for most. The mock was nice too. This set comes with soup of the day, which was the Salted Vegetable soup. Soup serving was pretty small, smaller than if you ordered it directly from the menu, so pretty misleading. #veganfood #chickenrice
Only available on weekdays (lunch set). By far the best chicken rice I have had - the rice was amazingly fragrant and delicious. I was hoping for more rice!
