Chickpea Melt

This filling was absolutely AMAZING! Creamy and substantial and distinctly maritime. I feel as though other chickpea/‘tuna’ fillings miss the ingredients that make it reminiscent of the sea, but this had capers in it as well as mustard and celery which gave it a real ocean-y kick. I loved this! It was quite messy to eat but delicious (also rather steeply priced at £7.50)

THE best toastie I’ve had since being vegan. The filling blended so well together - the onion, the cheese, the chickpeas. It blew my mind. You have to try this!

Delicious chickpea melt at Cascara. An alternative to the classic tuna melt. Onion makes it moorish! Comes with a fresh salad. #veganisnotscary

I love this toastie! Its loaded with a chickpea smash, loads of cheese then it’s all melted to perfection. It’s very substantial!
