Buddha Bowl

This time, I ordered the Buddha Bowl with Zingy Flax Salad and Two-Bean Chili. I chose well and was richly rewarded with a meal that left me bursting with energy. And it tastes so good! The cheezy quinoa and macadamia nuts are nice flourishes. #MauiVegan

This dish is black bean soup poured over quinoa and veggies. It sounds simple - and it is - but it’s also tasty and filling. In fact, it’s one of the best vegan meals I’ve had on Maui.

This is a phenomenal dish. It consists of a base of quinoa with a layer of greens, followed by their tasty soup of the day. It is a nice size dish and is a bargain compared to the offerings of the surrounding restaurants. They have two Choice locations but the one in Lahaina town closes early so check the website. The location at Whaler's Village is normally open until 9pm.
