Please excuse the photos, as I was eating outside on a cold wet and dark

evening under a streetlamp, i’ll take clearer photos the next time i visit. This was my first time trying Bulgarian food, and boy what a delight! The mixed platter gets you a taster of each main, all for a tenner. In this you get Grandma’s bean stew (боба на баба/boba na baba), stuffed peppers (пълнени чушки/palneni chuchski), mini kofte balls (кюфтета/kyuftentsa), and fried zucchini (пържени тиквички/parjeni tikvichi). served on a piece of freshly baked flatbread (parlenka) (beneath the food) and with some yummy pickles too. The kyuftentsa were served with a mango chilli sauce, and the parjeni tikvichi with a vg garlic yogurt. I loved each of the dishes, especially the bean stew, stuffed peppers and the flatbread. I might just get those as single dishes when I do go back. Keen to try the other items on the menu as well!

New Bulgarian Vegan place that shares the space with a few other stalls (but not the kitchen). Owned and run by the friendly Margarita (I hope I’ve spelt correctly). Everything on the menu is made by hand, with the exception of the vegan cheese. Margarita also tells us her fond memories of these dishes that she grew up with. The food’s amazing, and i had such a lovely time. This place is a short walk from the iconic music venue cafe OTO, and therefore a great option for a pre-concert dinner. Mostly takeaway, but there are a few seats and tables. An absolute joy.

I forgot to ask about allergens, best ask.
Single step to enter the place. High tables and barstools.
