It was my first Mac of the day, and it was great! The sweet potato-cashew cheeze sauce was A+++. It had a great #cheesey flavor and a really nice consistency. Not too thick or thin, and truly would be a Mac that omnivores would like. It's then topped off with shiitake crumble (does anyone remember the abillion stickers from like 5 years ago that said, "Let that shiitake go!" Hahah, still always think of that whenever I see shiitake mushrooms.) This was then topped off with almond based parmesan cheese. One side was around $6. Out of the places we went yesterday, this was the most affordable. The dining area is totally cute, brightly lit, and I loved the addition of the hanging chairs. It totally matches the vibe of West Village. It is a little bit small but they have one large table for groups. Pretty good! I really liked the mushroom bacon topping.
$7 for a small cup of mac and cheese, so it was pretty pricey. Didn’t taste much like cheese but still had a good flavor.
