Seeing such a variety of dishes on the plate made me feel so grateful to be vegan, and to have all these traditional options that have existed way before my time without any ultra processed foods. Every part of this dish gave a new and exciting flavour and texture, which brought together worked like a dream. Small gripe is that I would have appreciated more gravy as I found it got a bit dry. But would highly recommend to anyone in Bali looking for authentic Warung food!
An amazing array of traditional Indonesian dishes, each one as flavoursome as the last! My favourites were the gado gado, the eggplant, and the soy meat.
