It was a pretty dish but I really did not enjoy eating it at all. The sauces were too strong, the fillings were a weird texture (there was something in there that was way too fibrous).
Coconut/beet wrapped dumplings with kimchi cashew filling and ginger foam. Highly complex dish with something new and delicious in each bite!
Sunflower seed risotto with asparagus, bronze fennel, maitake mushrooms, saffron cashew cream, and macadamia. I had never had risotto and this was amazingly creamy with lots of great texture!
Adobo rubbed mamey over black truffle yucca mash. Served with daikon slaw and cachucha pepper oregano oil. Very substantial portion and extremely flavorful entree
Kelp noodle flan with macadamia ice cream, passionfruit syrup, and star fruit. Lovely mix of textures. The flan was smooth and firm and better than how I remembered non-vegan flan. The ice cream flavor was subtle but wonderful more
Can’t believe this is fast food in Miami! This was the Tropichop bowl with yellow rice and beans, bell peppers, and sautéed onions. The onions were more boiled than sautéed but good nonetheless. The tostones, fried plantains, more
This was filled with yummy spices and oyster mushrooms! Didn’t miss the meat at all and the pastry was great.
This was a little pricey at 8 USD for a small arepa but it was very good and one of the only vegan arepas I had in Miami (even though the exterior is almost always vegan). If you need an arepa fix this is definitely the place.
I did a double take when I saw the soy because it looked so much like beef! The soy was so tender and juicy and was perfect with the noodles and fresh vegetables. The house sauce for the bowl gave the whole thing good acidity more
Super vibrant with the strawberries. The shortbread was the perfect texture and the cupcake was light was fluffy. The best kind of sweet for a Miami summer.
