Hummus is one of the few creations that is loved universally, and that holds true for me as well. Thanks to this lockdown, it has been a long time since I went to one of my favourite places to have Falafel and Hummus 🥲, more

Live Yum Foods

Being the only vegan in a predominantly non-vegan household, it was quite challenging to get my family to try out some alternatives, but I persisted anyway.

Since ghee (clarified butter) is used rather generously at home, more

pranav546 Me too! The last time I had halwa was years ago and it was nice that I was able to veganize it this time. Thank you. It turned out fairly well actually!1 likeReply

pranav546 Yessss! I'm glad it's available because a worryingly large number of people use the dairy counterpart 😕Reply
lol1409 If it's worth the price, I think I'd buy it for my parents, it's the only thing stopping them from going fully vegan now, other than packaged snacks. Cool halwa! And great that they liked it too! Think you might be well on your way to becoming a chef by the time you get them convinced xD But that's a win-win. 3 likesReply
pranav546 You should give it a try! I'm sure they'd be surprised if you tried making sweets or other dishes using it. Thanks! Definitely xD Started my cooking journey late, but it will be worth it in the long run.1 likeReply

pv What did you think about the pricing?, keeping in mind that one needs to use one pack per session or a day 1 likeReply
pranav546 I looked up other plant protein brands such as Oziva, Plix, MuscleBlaze, BoldFit and they all are priced much higher than what is being offered by Goodmylk (Avg of ~₹200/100 g as opposed to ₹69/100g). The difference between the other brands and goodmylk is that they used pea protein instead of soy protein. It depends on what people choose I guess, but I think Goodmylk has priced it quite competitively!1 likeReply
