Doing it alone can be so isolating, most of the people who give up don't have a community that can support themReply
myvegang @herbimetal yeap that's true, becoming vegan is really hard, specially if we are alone. But nowadays we can have virtual vgangs, and it helps a lot! 😊 Unfortunately out of the virtual world, me and my boyfriend feel that loneliness, we just have a few vegetarian friends yet. Reply
herbimetal @myvegang yeah going vegan is not for the faint-hearted. Where do you live and is your boyfriend vegan too? Fortunately Singapore is small so it's easier to meet people. I'm really fortunate to be surrounded by lots of vegans. And still I struggle sometimes when my family wants to eat meatReply
myvegang @herbimetal yes he is also vegan. He helped me to become vegetarian 8 years ago and then we both became vegan. We live in Portugal and there are lots of vegan restaurants in Lisbon already, but we live a bit far from the capital so we need to cook almost everything. 😅 Around us we only have vegan pizzas yet. I'm already used to it, oh well. But Singapore? Omg you are so lucky. I love asian food. Specially dumplings!! 😍😭😋Reply
herbimetal @myvegang that is so sweet. I used to date a long time vegetarian but he said he could never go vegan. It's great to have a veg partner tho. Sounds hard having to cook it's time consuming. Eating out is easy here and there are so many options so I eat out a lot. I guess you could try making your own Asian food and buying frozen dumplings Reply
