Tamale Chik’n Verde

Before I went vegan tamales were my favorite food. I used to work in a cherry orchard in The Dalles, Oregon and one of my fondest memories was when I bought the tamales from the taco trucks that would show up on lunch hour. The tamale chik’n verde by Alpha is so good it brings me back to my late teens. They are a little overpriced at my local grocer, City Fresh, but so is every vegan item they sell.

If Alpha could make their price point universal I think these tamales could take over! They’re a great alternative to a burrito but just as convenient.
