I was happy to find anything vegan at this stage … the price was steep (€8,10) but I guess ok for an airport location. The baguette has grilled veggies and pesto and after checking with the guy at the register the cook confirmed more

BER (Berlin’s “new” airport) is a vegan nightmare! I couldn’t believe that not even the bakeries had some vegan options. In the end I found a grilled veggie baguette at Nu (B gates) and the good old Manner wafer waffles more

This was an interesting interpretation of the carrot lox. Very pleasing to the eye and overall tasty. Personally I found the spread a bit too thick and therefore overpowering the taste of the „lox“. I liked the sandwich more

I was hesitant to order the dish because I wasn’t all that hungry... super glad my curiosity beat my appetite though 😜 This was delicious and definitely made my top porridge list 😊
