Question for you all - how do you politely decline invitations to the zoo/aquarium? A friend recently invited me, and I want to be clear about why I choose to not participate but without coming off as shaming. Would love your thoughts about how you navigate this!

My parents recently became vegan (yay!!) and my dad mentioned he misses pizza. So next time they were over I made them some delicious vegan pizza! I used red sauce and miyokos liquid mozzarella (yum!), and added mushrooms, red onion, roasted red peppers, olives, and soy curl "bacon".

Yay!! So exciting! I have vegan parents, too. I'm so proud of them❤️

How did they come to swap to vegan? I so wish my parents would too.

My dad's reason is the environment and my mom's is her health - I lent her "The Kind Diet" by Alicia Silverstone and that did it! And as we talk more about it I think they're starting to make the ethical connection for the animals too 💜
