OMG this Boston Cream Cake by The Kind was mind blowing!!! Soooo damn fluffy and moist. Filled with a sublime vanilla custard made of almond mylk. And just the right amount of richness and sweetness (I can’t stand overly sweet or buttery/oily desserts).
They had this as a special limited edition dessert at our local vegan market (Namu Recommends). It even won the sweet sensation prize at the event.
The founder, Pallavii, said the cake is just for the event. But I’m sure if enough of us pester her, it’ll get introduced to their menu. Or we could even order full cakes for special occasions.
