I found this container of Oasis Pineapple Banana Orange Juice at Metro for $3.29. I thought the price was a bit steep, but that’s Metro for you. Anyways, I’m battling a cold and wanted orange juice, ideally, but didn’t find one that wasn’t outrageously priced. So I got this instead.
It’s a blend of juices from three of my favourite fruits (pineapple, banana, orange) and there’s lots of vitamin C in every glass. One cup contains 67% of your day’s recommended vitamin C intake. So I’ll definitely be having more than one cup throughout the day. The sugar count is very high; I assume it’s all natural sugar as the front of the container says “NO SUGAR ADDED”.
I’ve bought Oasis juice before and I will continue to in the future. It’s delicious, loaded with vitamin C and potassium, and doesn’t contain any unnecessary ingredients ( at least, I don’t think it does). And, of course, it’s fat-free. I would just be reluctant to pay $3.29 again.
