Vegan Schnitzel at Panarottis Cornubia Mall (Halaal) — saveg's Review (Sep 26, 2025)

I ordered this off the vegan menu. When ordering I confirmed with the waiter that it was vegan and came with vegan cheese. Afterwards when he brought the meal to me I asked him what vegan cheese do they use because it looked like feta. He said that it’s not vegan cheese. I spoke to the manager who said they do have vegan cheese ‘but it can only be used for the vegan pizza as it needs to be melted.’ After explaining that the menu states the schnitzel comes with vegan cheese and wanting to cancel my order as my friends had almost finished eating their food by this time, the manager insisted they cook a new one and assured me the cheese the sprinkled on it was 100%vegan.

The meal was completely bland and overpriced at R160. #dobetter
