So, first, I’d like to say that I LOVE that this brand is women owned and made something unique. I also appreciate that it’s gluten free. However, this cookie was just ok. I don’t know. It just didn’t taste as amazing as it looked on the package. It just seems a bit misleading. It wasn’t THAT “ooey gooey”. It lacked a certain richness and seemed a little blah. It didn’t remind me of the birthday cake cookies I would get at the bakery when I was little. I didn’t get them that many times but I feel like I can still remember how they tasted even though it’s been around 20 years (bakery is no longer there and it was non-vegan) since I’ve had it. Maybe I was expecting too much. I don’t think I can recommend this cookie though.
