The guy who served us was really personable, the kind of affable and well-meaning tourist trap fixture who has learned pleasantries and basic restaurant vocab in about 30 languages 😏 He might also have been the proprietor (or part-proprietor, who knows)

But we were not going to turn a blind eye to how horrible this #redcurry was 😥 The #carrot batons were tough, like they hadn't been cooked for long enough and just remained in a neither-crunchy-nor-tender state. There was not enough #tofu for the protein requirements of an average human. The #curry lacked volume, creaminess, and flavour. The best part of the plate may well have been the sticky #jasminerice 🥲 Cesky Krumlov has one sole vegetarian restaurant, and the lack of competition might be responsible for this low bar 😐
