Beyond Meat’s Beyond Steak Plant-Based Seared Tips finally went on sale at No Frills a little while ago, so I picked up at bag. It was $6.99 and the regular price is $7.99 or $8.99 which I think is a little steep.

But Beyond as done it again! I have yet to find a Beyond product that disappoints. Whether frozen or cooked, these steak tips look like the real thing. It’s scary. The taste and texture are incredibly close, if not the same, as beef. It can easily be passed off to the unsuspecting omnivore or self-proclaiming carnivore.

I used the seared steak tips in my homemade pancit (a Philippine dish with noodles, a variety of vegetables and a meat [chicken, pork, beef]). In the Philippines a few months ago, I often ate pancit, but without any meat. So today is the first time I’ve had pancit ever with ‘meat’.

The overwhelming majority of vegans ate beef in their former life, so I’m sure everyone is familiar on the potential uses of these steak tips.

These steak tips are loaded nutritionally. Some of the values in the Nutrition Facts are off the chart!

I will definitely get a few bags of this again when it’s on sale.
