Pain au chocolate at Mandala Café Bethnal Green — fx.k's Review (Apr 30, 2025)

Such a treat. Each bite was heaven. Light and with just the right amount of chocolate. I believe a couple of the baked goods here were baked by Okja, but i’m happy to be corrected. In any case, Mandala has a lovely selection of sweets, including a number that are baked in-house. Looking forward to trying their other items soon.

A lovely place. Fully vegan, non-profit cafe run in partnership with a buddhist centre. It’s such a delightful space, with indoor and outdoor seating in their garden and just the loveliest people. All-day brunches, sandwiches and salads, various baked goods and weekly specials. And loads of drinks and sweets. Food is reasonably priced and so tasty. Major allergens are labelled. Printed menu in english. Step-free entrance, with a couple of steps inside the cafe. Accessible bathrooms. Cashless. Ample bicycle parking right by the front door. #bethnalgreen #fullyvegan
