Pumpkin Toast with Berries Jam at slow bakes — Low Lai Chow's Review (Mar 17, 2025)

Deflected to the berries spread on nicely warmed and crisped fluffy pumpkin toast, since the avocado topping was sold out for the day. Not usually a fan of jam, and certainly appreciated actual strawberry chunks you could sink your teeth into. Got to love a place like Tzu Chi Humanistic Youth Centre which proudly puts up Meat-Free and Smoke Free signs right at the building entrance. Besides Slow Bakes, the other two F&B places, Real Food and Jing Si are also vegetarian #veganfriendly establishments. Today's wild (though brief) animal sightings at our table overlooking the serene Yishun Pond waterside and park: monitor lizard, chickens and the tiniest baby spider on me. #reviewithaview
