The menu board does not list the horseradish spread as vegan, but the website does …. And the staff confirmed it.
I was a little concerned that the sandwich would be a bit one-note, with all the mushrooms. The first bite erased that concern. It hits you in the face with flavor.
The bread is perfect. Toasted on the outside, to hold up to the hot mess it is containing. The inside of the bread is super fresh and soft; perfect for soaking up the flavorful juices.
A great value at $13.
