Ground Beef by Impossible FoodsThe Veg Life's Review (Dec 3, 2024)

This opened package has been in my freezer for a few months and I figured it was time to either finish it up or toss it. We made "beef" and broccoli with jasmine rice for dinner tonight and it was super tasty!! I had never used faux ground beef in an Asian style dish and it soaked up the sauce and flavours quite nicely.

I was all about the Impossible and Beyond Meat faux beef products when they first came out, but it's so heavily processed and high in sodium that I very rarely buy or eat it these days. It also wierds/grosses me out a bit that the ground "meat" is pink ..and turns brown when cooked. I mean, we are vegan or vegetarian for a reason!! I don't want to mimic cooking real meat!
