I picked up a few bags of Sol Cuisine Crispy Chik’n Plant-based Bites on a recent visit to Grocery Outlet for either $2.99 or $3.99 each. This price is a steep discount from the approximately $8.99 I’ve seen at other stores.
Grocery Outlet always has good finds! That store always passes on the savings to its customers.
These bites were certainly crispy after cooking them in a pan on the stove. They browned nicely (compare the 4th and 5th photos). The chik’n taste was phenomenal.
A packet of bbq sauce was included in the bag. This sauce was tangy and I used it as salad dressing for my “chik’n bites” salad.
These bites are packed with protein and iron, with a fair amount of sodium too.
I will get these again, especially when they’re deeply discounted.
