Italian Roast Veg Sandwich at Fruits & Roots — Candice's Review (Nov 16, 2024)

Shocked to see this place so quiet on a Saturday - the food here is so good. But, I'm guilty too in not visiting often enough myself .

My delicious sandwich composed of rye bread 'buttered' with hummus, and topped with roasted vegetables (that included tofu) and sprinkling of seeds. It came with a tasty side salad too which I later mixed in balsamic vinegar and a dash of the Herbamare spicy sea salt seasoning.

For the price of R90, I thought it was a decent plate of healthy and delicious tasting food.

I was very happy on my solo lunch.

The staff also deserve a mention - all so pleasant, friendly and welcoming.
