The generously applied mustard and the pickles gave the sandwich a delicious tangy taste; the mayo and provolone prevented it from becoming too tangy, making sure it stayed in the perfect Goldilocks zone. The combination of the soft sourdough, layered ham, and crisp pickles also gave the sandwich a really appetizing texture. It was an awesome sandwich overall!
