I was never fond of #kacangma before as it’s often too bitter from the heavy hand of cooking wine 🫨 To the uninitiated, such bold herbaceous flavours can be intimidating on the taste buds as well 😅

Perhaps it was the perfectly braised #lionsmanemushroom 😋 or the precisely tuned seasonings that changed my #palette 😙 The saltiness was mild as it should be. The bitterness was but a whisper in the #herby mix of it all 😛 Either way, each tender and slightly bouncy bite would make even the most cynical reconsider 🤨

Such a fine #stew does come at a slightly hefty RM 18 😮‍💨
