I'm not usually one to splurge, but I had seen this popular brand around for years and when I saw it on sale at Walmart, I had to try it to see if the hype was worth it.
It 1000% was!!! This was the best store bought bottled marinara sauce I have ever had!! So rich and flavourful, a very hearty taste to it. I made a vegetable lasagna soup with it, a dish I have made many times in the past, and this version undoubtedly tasted the best. I can't wait to try it in a different dish like a simple spaghetti and meatballs where the sauce can shine even more.
I don't see myself buying this too often as it's over 10 bucks a bottle regular price ...but I will definately treat myself to this on occasion and i will be looking out for the arriabata bottle.
