This is my favourite field roast sausage flavour! The fennel flavour is well balanced and really lovely, not too overpowering. It's high in sodium but has a great amount of protein at 25g per sausage.
I always crumble this up and add it to pasta dishes as the protein. I recently pan fried the sausage crumble and added it to lasagna soup and it turned out so epic! The sausage absorbed the sauce and became even more flavourful and tender. It was a hit with the family and we devoured it so quickly that I forgot to take a photo!
