I love that the company’s About Us page talks about the atrocities of the egg industry, including the massive amount of resources used, impact on health, and cruelty inflicted on the animals. For instance, I often see figures on the number of animals killed for food, but had no idea 6 BILLION male chicks are culled every year! 😢🐣
Because these are quite costly, I haven’t tried them in a recipe yet, in my attempt to take full advantage of enjoying them as is—but I hear good things, so maybe next time! 🤤
