I purchased this 6pack of frozen ready to eat yakisoba noodles from Costco, so that i could have it in the freezer for quick meals. I finally got around to trying it last night.
It was really tasty, with the addition of a little extra soy sauce and hot sauce for flavour. It had a shocking amount of sodium though, at 47% of your DV, which is insane considering I felt it needed a little extra soy sauce! I probably wouldn't buy this again just based on that, but I will happily finish off the rest of the box!
There was a nice assortment of veggies but it would be better if there was a bit more. It does have 15g of protein per serving and 31% of your DV of iron, which is awesome. I added some green beans and zucchini to it this time but will add some tofu or edamame next time to amp up the protein.
It is a microwavable meal which I try to avoid. I did read someone's tip here about making it on a stove top with water so I will give that a try next time. It also comes in single serving plastic packaging. The product is marked as vegetarian but the ingredients appear to be vegan.
