Saw these at Freshco on an insane sale at a DOLLAR a pack, so I picked up a few to freeze. I asked a staff for the reason they were on sale and they said they would no longer be stocking any fieldroast sausages and wanted to get rid of what was on the shelf.
I crumbled it up and made a sausage and onion stir fry for breakfast today. The sausages have a good texture, are very flavourful with some heat. An insane 28g of protein per sausage! Really high in sodium though, so I wouldn't eat this too often.
Super versatile since it can be crumbled unlike some other vegan sausages. I can't wait to try this next as taco meat or on nachos, especially since it already comes well seasoned!
