Veganized #lithuanian cold beetroot soup!💕
Amazing #summerfood and lithuanian classic..
It’s mainly made with #beets and soured milk, #soymilk was used for this (I think).
Potatoes were delicious as well, just perfect.
5,5€ is a very #reasonablypriced and it’s quite filling - I was full from it alone at least for some time, not sure if I’d be able to eat a second course.
Other places you can get vegan #šaltibarščiai are “Rosehip” and “Holigans” and they also have this option only during summer or until it starts to get cold outside. I also love “Rosehip” šaltibarščiai - a bit different because contains tofu. Haven’t tried “Holigans” ones.

“Vieta” means “the place” and it’s a #fullyveganrestaurant that offers #lunch and is open only on weekdays.
They are often crowded during peak times, but vibes are very friendly and it’s normal here to ask to join some table if no free ones are available
