Fried Glutinous Balls at Nature's Recipe Cafe — Steven Neoh's Review (Jul 1, 2024)

This is a hidden gem in PJ, their #dimsum and #lunch food options are exceedingly good 🙌 The server encouraged us to try this new (perhaps experimental) item, for which we displaced the siew mai we had originally wanted, and the initial verdict is a strong yes 💪

This takes #glutinousrice and flattens it into a layer that then gets #deepfried, throwing all the glory into how #sweetdreamsaremadeofgrease 🤤 Mind, the filling is pretty good too - #charsiew and some diced vegetables mixed in with #cilipadi and left to exact its #spicy vengeance ☺️
