I was pretty intrigued when I saw this melon. It looks like a yellow-orange gaya melon 🍈 but it is an offshoot of an offshoot called a Picasso melon which is grown here in Southern California. It’s quite delicious! The flesh is crisp with some give and it’s quite sugary, flavorful and fragrant. Though distinctly different it tastes like a combination of a dew melon and a Korean pear. Would definitely recommend that fellow #melonlover give this one a try!
