I’m surprised I haven’t reviewed this product before considering I’ve bought it several times. Gardein has done it again.! These plant based / vegan Crispy Chick’n Patties are phenomenal; absolutely delicious! I got them at Grocery Outlet for $1.99 or $2.99 which is a great deal, considering they’re $5.99 or $6.99 normally. Four patties are in each bag.
I always pan fry them without any oil and they turn out wonderfully. Nicely browned and always crispy. And they do indeed taste like chicken.
The ingredient list is lengthy, but so is the list of nutrients in each patty. Each patty provides a lot of iron, protein, zinc, vitamin B12 and many other nutrients.
I would definitely get these again.
