I bought this bottle of Maca Root & Aloe Calming Post-Shave Water Gel a few years ago from The Body Shop. I’m just getting around to using it now. Normally I use another natural aftershave product from The Body Shop, but I bought this to try something different.
I don’t know if The Body Shop is still in Canada ( I don’t think it is), so I don’t know if this product is still available. But it’s fantastic. My face is very sensitive when I shave, so an aftershave lotion must be gentle for me. This water gel definitely is. There’s a very mild sting upon application, that quickly disappears. My face feels comfortable and not irritated.
This water gel is made with Mexican aloe and Peruvian maca root. Like all products from The Body Shop, this was not tested on animals. I simply don’t understand how this is not the norm!
In the last photo, you can see the small amount I used. So this bottle will last me a long while. And if I can find it again, I will definitely buy it again.
