Miso Ramen at Jikasei MENSHO — Alaina's Review (May 25, 2024)

In a food court mall setting downstairs near Shibuya crossing, this place has several vegan ramen options available: vegan miso, spicy vegan miso, vegan tantanmen, and vegan tantanmen without soup. You are able to order on a screen outside the restaurant, then wait to be seated and your order to be called.

The miso soup had a lot of noodles, soy meat, and veg to go after, and a fairly good broth. As a miso lover, I would have liked more miso flavoring, but I will admit that I can get excessive with its use in my own cooking. It was a good non-spicy option, but I felt like it was a rather average flavor profile.
