Chickpea Tofu by Franklin Farms — rosieb33's Review (May 13, 2024)

Hmm, I definitely have some thoughts on this one. It tastes like nothing to me.. in a wonderful way. Extremely versatile in that sense! However, it's the texture that threw me for a loop. It's soft, creamy, and starchy. Mashed potato-esque. Lacking the firmness and bounce of traditional soy tofu.

I made a #tofuscramble with it, and I cant imagine it would hold up well cubed. I think it might do well blended into a pudding or some other dessert. I'm not a fan of the texture so I won't repurchase, as it's also more expensive than soy tofu. But I appreciate that the option is out there!
