Chocolate Chip Walnut Cookie at Pattycake Bakery — arronlee's Review (May 10, 2024)

On todays trip to the bakery, I was making some cookie selections and ordered a chocolate chip cookie. The person helping me asked if I wanted a regular chocolate chip cookie or one with walnuts. At first I said regular since I am not one to be fond of walnuts in cookies. But since this is an item I had not previously had from Pattycake Bakery before, thought I would expand my horizons…and I am glad I did. The person at the counter said the walnuts had a “buttery” taste. And she is absolutely right. That is the perfect description of the nutty flavor in this cookie. The walnut flavor wasn’t overpowering like in other cookies I had. There is a subtleness to the flavor that definitely enhances the taste of this wonderful cookie.
