Review of Organic Butternut Squash - Farmer’s Market by kristig
I have been using this brand of butternut squash puree for years now for our homemade mac that I make. I used to roast and puree my own but honestly it was a lot of time and I use this as a healthier quick meal option for the kids.
You would think all puree cans would be the same but they are not, consistency and taste can vary.
This #butternutsquash is smooth, creamy, and full flavored. I buy it at Whole Foods for $3.69 a can it's a bit more expensive than most canned purees and it has definitely gone up this year, but it still feels like a pretty cost effective way to make a Mac and get my #vegankids to eat butternut squash.

rochi09 There’s a faster way to cook butternut squash in the microwave. The result is more watery than when oven roasted but it’s a time-saver. 2 likesReply
kristig I'll have to look at that technique! My oven died end of December and microwave is temperamental (not bad for 80s appliances lol) so I love on my air fryer right now 🤣, but once I replace them both I'll be ready to explore more ways to cook!2 likesReply
