cookie butter red velvet cake at Valhalla Bakery — aubrey :)'s Review (Apr 29, 2024)

i was a pretty big fan of this cake! red velvet and cookie butter aren’t two things that i’d automatically match up; however, i found that these came together to make a delicious combination.

the cake itself wasn’t dense and was plenty fluffy and moist; the red velvet flavor was accurate (although i’m no red velvet connoisseur) and tasted great. the cookie butter frosting did have a light cookie butter flavor, and i liked that it wasn’t too overpowering and allowed me to still taste red velvet in each bite. the frosting was a little sugar-y for me today, but i might have overdone it on the sweet tooth today so i won’t blame the cake 😭
