My office went out for lunch to treat a student who would be leaving us to return to school. So we went to Thai Room at the corner of Dufferin and Steeles, in North York (Toronto). I had never eaten here before and I wasn’t sure what to expect when I had ordered.

When I was served my lunch, I was blown away by the vibrant colors. It looked so artistic and beautiful. It was food made from food. And I absolutely loved the scent of the mangos and citrus.

My lunch consisted of triangular pieces of tofu, red, green and yellow peppers, pieces of mango, a few almonds (I think) and a few other ingredients that I can’t remember. All of this was covered in a citrusy sauce. I mixed the rice that was on the side into my main bowl. It was absolutely delicious and I would definitely order this again. 

For a small restaurant, it was quite busy at lunch. My lunch was $13 which I thought was very reasonable.
