Sunrise Roll at Ogenki sushi — Le Raton Saveur's Review (Apr 23, 2024)

Creative vegan sushi is hard to find in Ottawa, so I was thrilled to find Ogenki’s vegan menu and am not ashamed to say I ordered from them twice on my Vancouver trip.

This roll has yam tempura, avocado, and cucumber inside, plus vegan crab meat, tempura bits, spicy mayo, and black sesame seeds on top.

I also subbed in brown rice for $1 because health.

It’s delightfully crunchy and flavourful. Only downside is this place is quite pricey, at least on UberEats - but IMO very worth it.
