Things are so expensive these days. At No Frills I was getting the 900g-1kg bags of fries for $4, and this is 2kg for $4.99 at Food Basics the other day, not even on sale! I love big packages so you can get more without a million smaller plastic bags, and more fries is never a bag thing!

These are great. I cook them low-ish so they can get crispy but also stay soft on the inside. These have made a few great poutines, but are also great just with some malt vinegar and ketchup or vegan mayo!
