Apricot Almond Pinwheels at Destination Donuts — Liz Maselli's Review (Apr 14, 2024)

This was a fun pastry to try. This pinwheel had a flakey puffy #pastry with #apricot jam in the middle. It had a light glaze topping and it was sprinkled with shivered almonds. They usually only have donuts, but they sometimes they will have one item like this or a cinnamon roll. This was definitely unique and had super nice flavor. I loved the apricot jam. My only complaint would be the mess as it's a bit dry and flakey, but nothing too bad. 🤣
